FINALLY DONE!!!

Here it is, October 12th or 13th or something like that and I have completed my first wholesale order completed in my new little company "The Gypsies Suitcase". My jewelry is being sold in the Lakeside Village Mall at "The Gift Basket Boutique". This journey would not have been possible without the constant and loving support from my husband, Dave. He has not spent any time with me over the past three weeks or so where I haven't been "workaholic'ing" it. Last night he helped me button everything up: accounting-wise and did the whole "Peachtree" thing and gave the pieces inventory numbers and asked me questions while I snapped back an answer... Peachtree Accounting and product numbers are SOOOO not my cup of tea. SO... a great big HUG and KISS to my husband who after 10 years is still and will always be... my hero. I love you, Dave.

Hi Ho Hi Ho....

Working away... completely distracted today. Jewelry is almost ready for kiln cranking. I think tomorrow will be kiln day... then Tues. I will assemble... the fun part! Listening to Natalie Merchant... so relaxing. "Think music".

Well.. back from my RI trip... www.gypsyofthesea.blogspot.com for pics and details! Now I am headed to my studio for some altered cards to finish up and most exiting... start to design some new jewelry for a store "exclusive"... doesn't that sound "cushy"? You kn ow what? I am proud of myself. I have worked hard and it makes me feel proud to have a store in the mall that want to carry my dichroic jewelry "exclusively".... it cuts down on running around time and simplifies things for me. May I suggest "Blogging for Dummies"? Perhaps there is a "Blogging for a COMPLETE GREEN idiot".....I spent (I don't even want to ADMIT) hours trying to accomplish this dastardly deed. It is more than likely a "piece of cake"... Eventually, I'll get it.... for now.... I go make art!!!

OK...so today I added what they refer to in "blogsville" as page elements. I got that part down. Now I am typing this to see where it will appear on the blog page.
